why?

When we were children, we spent many early years and school breaks visiting Ecuador because we each have a parent from there. As adults, we grew interested in learning more about other countries and what life is like outside of North and South America. Pretty soon, we began to explore the world whether by boat, plane, or train.

We crave travel. We appreciate different cultures and new experiences. The food, the nightlife, the sunsets, there is so much to appreciate about a change in scenery. There is so much to learn from other cultures.

We started this blog to inspire others, especially those in Kentucky where we reside, to get out and explore the world!
